Splashdown Under New Management

PEORIA- With frigid temperatures, people might be looking forward to summer days at East Peoria's Splashdown, but when that time rolls around, the water park will be open under new management.
The Fondulac Park District owns the Splashdown and says it was running a deficit and having staffing problmes, so it's contracting out management to a private firm.
The new company in charge is called USA Pools. It signed a one year contract and says prices will stay the same and business will run as usual.
USA Pools says it hopes to start a long partnership with the park district, and hopes it will renew the contract in a year.
