NORMAL- Tuition and fees are going up at Heartland Community College.
Starting this summer, it'll cost students an extra three dollars.
That makes tuition $130 dollars per credit hour.
The Heartland Community College Board of Trustees approved the bump last night.
Members say decreased state support has prompted the school to adjust fees.
The change makes Heartland's tuition slightly above the statewide average for public community colleges.
