High winds were blowing late Tuesday afternoon when an 18 wheeler rolled over on I 474 near
the Farmington Road exit. No word what exactly caused the accident which caused a snarl in
traffic for a while as the semi truck was hauling corn which spilled all over the road.
The driver suffered only minor injuries. Cleanup efforts were underway and drivers are advised
by IDOT to take extra caution as they travel on 474 between Farmington and Airport Roads as deer will likely take an interest in the remaining grain.
