Bloomington Shooting Incident Sentencing

One of six people, rounded up in connection with a shooting in Bloomington last November, was
sentenced Friday. 20 year old Raymond Davis pleaded guilty to aggravated use of a weapon while
other charges were dropped. He was put on probation for 2 years and given six months jail time
but was given credit for 100 days served. Meantime, five others still face trial in connection with
this shooting. Deandre Daniels and 18 year old Jake Williams are each charged with attempted
murder, among other charges. 20 year old Antoine Smith and 23 year old Kenneth King are
charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and mob action and 22 year old Qunshawn
Gardneer is charged with armed violence, aggravated battery with a firearm and possession of a
firearm by a street gang member. The incidemtns are the result of a November 5th incident in which
two people are shot and another beaten up in the 1200 block of Orchard Road.
