Possible Bobcat Running Around East Peoria Area

EAST PEORIA--East Peoria Reports Sighting Of Possible Bobcat
On the City of East Peoria's Facebook page, they have a picture of a possible bobcat.
The picture was taken on a trail camera at someone's home off of Highview Drive.
Wildlife officials at the Forest Park Nature Center say the image is misleading.
Some Facebook comments suggest that the cat is a cougar but Forest Park says it's
actually a bobcat.
Bobcats are nocturnal but Forest Park says they may be out more often because it's peak mating season.
Forest Park says bobcats are usually non-aggressive but if you see one out, your best bet is to leave it alone.
