NORMAL- Normal police nabbed a Chicago homicide suspect while responding to a call of a woman being held against her will in Normal. According to a release Wednesday from Normal police, when
officers arrived at the North Meadow Village Trailer Park, they found a man had fled on foot prior
to their arrival. Joesph Mathis was located at a business in the 1600 block of North Main shortly
after he fled and was taken into custody without incident. Mathis faces charges in McLean County of
unlawful restraint, obstructing justice and domestic battery. Police say he will be sent back to Cook
