PEORIA - A Peoria company is giving its employees a special bonus in their future paychecks.

The CEO of Alliance Benefit Group said he's giving back the two percent that has been taken away by the government for the social security tax increase.

CEO John Blossom said it's another way to make life a little easier for 71 employees. He said, "As a professional service, our people are our resource, our most important resource. They really are, if they're not happy, if they're not doing a good job, we're not doing a good job. So everything we can do to make their lives more productive is good for us."

Blossom said the company will be paying out an extra $80,000 a year to make up for the government imposed pay cut.

Alliance Benefit Group is a company that takes care of employer sponsored retirement plans.
