First Celebrity Couple

The newest exhibit opening at Milner Library at Illinois State University is focused on the first celebrity wedding in America. Tom Thumb and Lavinia Warren were dwarves working for P.T Barnum when they first met. Their wedding in New York in 1863 sparked national interest.
You can learn more about the couple and the details of their wedding in Milner's Special Collections. The exhibit opens Wednesday, February 13th and runs through May 25th.
