A Peoria Manual arts teacher was freed on bond Monday afternoon to her parents after she
was charged last week with a sex crime. 28 year old Amanda Ludwig is facing a federal charge
of enticing a minor for sex through texting. Ludwig is accused of having sex with a 15 year old
student in her classroom and the alleged incident was reportedly recorded on the student's cell
phone. Ludwig remains on paid administrative leave while a federal grand jury considers the
case later this month.
