BLOOMINGTON- People are putting on their bowling shoes to help a popular cause strike success.
Sunday dozens could be found at Pheasant Lanes Bowling Alley, to support the organization.
For just $10 dollars people could play two games and enjoy some pizza.
The event benefits Special Olympics, which allows people with special needs to compete in sporting events.
They're raising money for the upcoming polar plunge at Miller Park Lake.
Organizer Kelsey Milligan says so far, they've collected more than $400 dollars.
"We are just raising awareness and trying to get people to come out and support our plunge team," said Milligan. "Just overall raise money for Special Olympics."
The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics takes place February 23 at Miller Park Lake in Bloomington.
