OSF Healthcare Responses to Methodist Lawsuit

OSF Healthcare System responded Friday to a lawsuit filed against OSF St. Francis earlier this
week in Peoria federal court. OSF says it is confident it has fully complied with all anti trust laws
and regulations while providing high quality health care throughout the region. In a news release
issued Friday, OSF Healthcare said, having reviewed the lawsuit filed by Methodist Health
Services Corporation against OSF St. Francis Medical Center, they found it to be without merit.
The news release goes on to say litigation will simply consume time, energy and resources
that each organization could better use to meet the health and medical care needs of tri county
residents as well as those throughout Central and Northern Illinois.
