Five People Charged in Marijuana Growing Case

Due to a Task Force 6 state investigation in both McLean and Tazewell Counties, five people
appeared in McLean County court Thursday facing felony drug charges in connection with an
indoor marijuana growing operation. Prosecutors say the drug growing operation began in
Bloomington and expanded to a home near Tremont. Catherine Peterson,42 of Downs, Larry Crummett, 42 of rural Tremont and Joshua Gabor, 35 also of Tremont, Ted Monniger, 60 of Bloomington and Mark Rousey, 38 of Bloomington were all in court Thursday. Each is facing
one count of calculated criminal drug conspiracy and conspiracy to commit unlawful marijuana
production. Peterson and Rousey's bond was set at 100 thousand dollars while the others bonds
were a quarter of a million dollars.
