PEORIA- Two Peorians, including one who was mentored through Peoria's Don't Shoot Program,
who were indicted this week for allegedly kidnapping an elderly man, pleaded NOT GUILTY
Thursday. 30 year old Jerome Jones and 18 year old Jarvis Logan are each charged with
aggravated kidnapping, armed robbery, aggravated robbery and mob action. Jones was seeking
help from the Don't Shoot Program at the time of his arrest. He was on parole from a 2011

took him to a home on Widenham. The victim was allegedly bound and beaten. He then escaped.
Jones and Logan will appear in court again March 8th.
