Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified Thursday President Obama was absent the night
four Americans were murdered in Benghazi last September. Panetta admitted he met with Obama
at 5pm scheduled gathering, the president left the operational details to help the Americans up to
Panetta and others. In fact, Panetta testified on the night of 9/11 he didn't communicate with anyone
at the White House during the attack on the American embassy. Meanwhile, critics are also
blasting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton because of not communicating with either the
chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or Secretary Panetta during the 8 hour attack at Benghazi. The
hearing Thursday was an effort by lawmakers to learn more about what went wrong during
the attack on the embassy and who was to blame.
