PEORIA-- Local Contractors Believe This Years Construction Season Will Be Better Than The Last.
Many local contractors think that the spring construction season will be better than last year based off of 1st quarter revenue sales.
The West Central Illinois Building And Construction Trades Council (WCIBCTC) says they nearly broke record sales during the 1st quarter; which is an indication to them that the season will be promising.
Clint Drury, WCIBCTC Associate Director, says a mild winter contributed to high sales because workers were able to stay outside.
Drury also says those affected by the recession are starting to recover which will help construction in the spring.
