Suspected Peoria Bank Robber Indicted

A suspected Peoria bank robber was indicted Tuesday for a holdup last month. 36 year old
Clayton Keefer is accused of robbing the Peoria Commercial Bank on Knoxville in late January.
Though he hasn't been charged, Keefer remains a suspect in a bank robbery January 22nd
at the Heartland Bank on Court Street. Police say the suspect passed a note to the teller in
that holdup demanding money. The suspect then reached across the counter and removed
money from the drawer and fled. The suspected didn't show a weapon in either robbery.
