PEORIA - Gas prices have already climbed about 20 cents since last week and it looks like there is no relief in sight.

AAA said the expense is a supply and demand issue. Right now, gas prices are hovering around $3.60.

Unfortunately for drivers, it's a trend that experts say is sticking around.

Driver John Ryan said, "The price of gas seems to bar no relationship to the amount of oil available."

Driver Pam Heimer said, "Yeah, I'm kind of fed up with the gas prices going up."

Driver Israel Agront said, "I just don't understand why the gas prices keep going up, keep going back down, keep going back up, keep going back down, and it seems like every time they go back up they go up a few cents higher."

AAA said it expects prices to rise again on Wednesday.
