Early Morning North Street Fire Remains Under Investigation.

PEORIA --
Peoria Fire Fighters were called to the 1200 Block of N. North Street to battle an early morning fire.
Authorities say the first floor was engulfed in heavy smoke and flames upon arrival.
Multiple crews were on the scene to fight the blaze, which originated in the attic of the house.
Damage is estimated at $45,000.
The house is currently vacant, no one on the scene was injured.
The cause remains under investigation.
