PEORIA - The Super Bowl is a big night for football fans, but for many other Americans, it's a day that calls for snack food and fun.

Shoppers at Hy-Vee are picking up a few bags of chips but that's not the biggest request this Sunday.

Shoppers said wings are at the top of their lists.

But that happens to be the one item that's running a little low.

Shopper Joyce Robinson planned ahead. "But we bought them two weeks ago, before it came on the news there was a shortage. We did that we were already prepared!"

Another trend that is happening this Super Bowl Sunday - a strong backing for the Baltimore Ravens.

Of all the people we talked to, we found only one loyal 49ners fan. Zach Heller explains why this team is his favorite. "First grade I wanted a Brett Farve jersey for Christmas. I got a Jerry Rice jersey, stuck with the Niners ever since."

As always, the Super Bowl game calls for food, and fun.

While we didn't have a Midwest team in the big game this year, as you can see, people aren't celebrating any less.

Hy-Vee store managers said the Super Bowl makes it a big shopping day. The store's biggest sellers include chips, dips and food trays.
