Jesse White Stresses Safety to Truckers

PEORIA - Secretary of State Jesse
White made a trip to Peoria Saturday to speak at the Midwest Truckers
Association Luncheon.
White said his goal is to stress the
importance of being safe while traveling from point A to point B.
He said in his visit he will
congratulate truckers and reiterate why all drivers must follow precautions.
White said, "We also want to remind
them that my mission, my message as Secretary of State is to make sure we keep
the roads of Illinois safe as ever."
A new rule for truckers... white said
they are no longer allowed to talk on a cell phone.
