A Peoria District 150 teacher is behind bars, facing federal charges for enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity.
Police arrested Manual Academy art teacher Amanda Ludwig Friday night.
She's accused of using text messages to lure a Manual High School student to engage in sexual behaviors.
Ludwig is charged by federal criminal complaint with enticing a minor for sex in violation of federal law.
District 150 immediately launched an investigation yesterday after receiving a tip during school.
Authorities arrested Ludwig last night during manual's basketball game.
She's being held at the Peoria County Jail and will appear before a judge on Monday.
District 150 says it will continue to provide whatever support is necessary through the entire investigation.
