Morton Business Receives MicroGrant

By: Bob Larson
Updated: January 31, 2013

The owner of the new Amish Choice Wood Furniture store in Morton is the recipient of a $2500
Morton MicroGrant. Morton's Economic Development Council said Thursday Larry Huff, who
owns the new store, brings an exciting new retail store to the community which will create
two full time jobs and one part time position and offer a line of high quality furniture products.
Huff moved to Morton 20 years ago with his family and has worked in both the retail and
the furniture industry for over two decades. He decided last year he wanted to fulfill a dream
of owning his own business. The store will be located at 915 Detroit Court in Morton. The new
store will feature all Amish made hard wood furniture including bedroom sets, tables, hutches,
desks, chairs, youth furniture and more. Huff is planning to open the store sometime in March
