Vanags Leaving EDC in Bloomington

Marty Vanags, chief executive officer of the Bloomington-Normal EDC announced he will
resign effective February 22nd to accept a position as Vice President and Executive Director
of the Indy Partnership, a division of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
Vanags served at the EDC since May 2004. According to a release, under Marty's leadership
the EDC has secured more than one billion in new capital investment. A search for a new
chief executive will begin immediately.
