Monster Jam Invades Peoria

The date with destruction has arrived in Central Illinois.
The Battleground is being laid for this week's Monster Jam at the Peoria Civic Center.
Tons of dirt is being poured on the arena floor.
Friday and Saturday the battle takes place as the monster trucks will rev up their engines to see who's the best.
Trucks compete in racing and freestyle events.
Promoters say the dirt plays a big part in the trucks performance.
The Civic Center hosts one show Friday and two shows Saturday.
