Due to a decrease in flu cases recently, the Peoria area hospitals are lifting the visitor restrictions.
According to a release Tuesday, OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Methodist Medical Center,
Pekin Hospital and Proctor Hospital are lifting visitor restrictions. For the last few weeks, all
area hospitals have been operating under a restricted visitor policy including no visitors under the
age of 18. For the safety of patients, visitors and staff, the hospitals are still asking people
not to visit hospitalized loved ones if you have flu like symptoms or other illness.
