An East Peoria woman was formally charged Monday with an armed robbery last July of a
Washington convenience store where she worked. 21 year old Whitney Graham was arrested
Friday while a Peoria man has already been charged in the case and police are seeking
a second man. 22 year old Todd Lawson of Peoria and a second man allegedly entered the
store in the 2200 block of Washington Road and asked about the price of cigarettes. Police
claim Lawson displayed a gun while the second suspect went behind the counter and opened
the safe and took $425 and both fled. Police claim Graham had given the holdup men the
combination to the safe.
