A Champaign County man is still missing after a traffic crash near Leroy Friday night, but authorities believe he could be okay.
Illinois State Police are searching for 46 year old James Odom.
Witnesses say he fled the scene on foot after the collision.
Odom who is on parole for his fourth d-u-i did have a passenger in the car.
He's expected to be okay.
Meantime, the crash happened at 10:30 on Route 150 Friday night.
According to reports Odom crossed the center line and collided with Ruben Rodriguez of Bloomington.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Meantime, the McLean County Emergency Management Agency has scoured the area for signs of Odom.
But with nothing found, EMA Director Curtis Hawk says police have asked them to stop looking.
"If we find footprints, clothing, a pack of cigarettes, something that he may have dropped, that gives us a clue that he's in the area. We found nothing, so no clue is the clue that he's probably not here," Hawk explained.
The investigation is being handled by Illinois State Police.
Authorities are considering issuing an arrest warrant to track Odom's whereabouts.
Anyone with information is asked to call Illinois State Police at 815-844-1500.
