Average retail gas prices in Peoria have risen 7.9 cents per gallon in the past week, according to
an update released Monday. Prices were .7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago
and are 7.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan
said refinery production has taken a hit in the last week as companies begin looking towards the
summer driving season.
