It's called Winter Jam, and it's one of the largest christian rock concerts around.
"I'm so excited for Winter Jam," said Christian music fan Katie Rose. "All the bands, everything; the excitement here is just, it is so exciting."
For many years - this popular concert tour has rocked out the Peoria Civic Center.
"I have been coming here since I was in Junior High," said Rose. "I've come with youth groups. I've come with friends. Every year, I seem to find my way here, and it is so much fun."
Rose is like many Christian music fans that come back year after year, eager to watch a concert she know will lift her spirits.
"With a show like this that has this many acts involved, word of mouth is huge," said Civic Center Assistant Marketing Director Megan Pedigo. "So we see a bunch of word of mouths, more church groups every year, more people, it just keeps getting bigger and better."
Many say the Christian music scene has become more popular each year. Which means Winter Jam, itself, has become more popular.
"Contemporary Christian music is awesome, because there are so many different genres," said music fan Mindy Vanning. "You can have the hard rock. You can have the hip hop. You can have easy listening."
"There's something for everyone here," Rose added. "Whether you like rap, slower Christian music, whether you want to go crazy and worship God, it is all here in one night."
The Civic Center says attendance for this years winter jam reached over nine thousand.
