Peorian Sentenced on Federal Weapons Charge

One of eight men, rounded up last year as part of Peoria's Most Violent Offender program,was
sentenced Friday in Peoria federal court to three years in prison. 24 year old Spencer Furlow
pleaded guilty last year to unlawful transportation of a firearm. Meantime, Furlow still faces
charges in a sweeping indictment against alleged members of the Bomb Squad as part of the
Don't Shoot program. Furlow is back in federal court February 21st.
