Normal Resident Sentenced for ISU Incident

A Normal man was sentenced to four years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to three
counts of burglary for allegedly using a credit card stolen during ISU thefts. 24 year old
Jason Harris with given credit for 81 days already served in jail. Harris is one of two men
arrested last November in connection with a series of burglaries at Illinois State University.
According to prosecutors, Harris was seen with one of the stolen electronic devices at a Bloomington
pawn shop. He admitted, prosecutors said, to using the stolen credit card but said he was
making purchases on behalf of Dean Harris. Dean Harris is still facing several counts of
burglary of a school from August 10 to August 13 at Horton Field House and Stevenson Hall and Fell
Hall from Nov. 2 through November 5th. Dean Harris is back in court February 8th.
