PEORIA-- Testing The Limits of Cold & Fruit

Most would want to stay inside during days when temperatures struggle to get out of single digits; however testing how much cold certain fruits can handle is always a fun experiment.

A banana, egg, grapefruit, blue berries and clothes were all left in the elements through the overnight. Temperatures were near 0 Monday night and all of these objects froze.

The banana was so cold it could be used as a hammer while the grapefruit and egg felt like rocks.
Hot, boiling water was thrown into the cold air and instantly froze and turned to snow. This shows the process of evaporation.
