Local Shelters Offer Warmth During Frigid Temps

BLOOMINGTON-These frigid temperatures are ramping up requests at Bloomington's Home Sweet Home Ministries.
Home Sweet Home is opening its lobby for anyone to come in and warm up.
More people are coming in for lunch and the shelter's handing out sack lunches,too.
The ministry could really use winter staple items to keep the cold out.
"We've been getting requests left and right all day. We need hats, gloves, gloves for kids, coats, and scarves. This is the first big cold snap we've had this winter so of course everyone wants to be protected as much as they possibly can," says Sabrina Burkiewicz of Home Sweet Home Ministries.
