Man Charged in Connection to Galesburg Homicide

A 25 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with stabbing a 23 year old Galesburg man to death.
Kai Lefler of Oneida is being held in the Knox county jail.
He's charged with first degree murder and aggravated battery.
Police say Lefler allegedly stabbed 23 year old Robert Kilgore to death a few doors down from the victim's home in Galesburg.
It happened just after 12:30 Sunday morning at 18 Chestnut Street.
Police don't know what led up to the incident, and say there is no known relationship between the two.
Lefler's bond has been set at $1 million dollars.
