Gas Prices Up Slightly in Past Week

Average retail gas prices in Peoria have risen 1.2 cents per gallon in the past week, according to
the latest survey issued Monday by PeoriaGasPrices.com. Prices were 9.7 cents per gallon lower a
year ago but 7.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average now lags prices
a year ago by 9 cents per gallon and lowest price in the country is in Laramie, Wyoming where
gas sold for $2.35 per gallon.
