Explosion at IDOT Facility Sends Employee to Hospital

TOWANDA- One person is in the hospital after an explosion at an IDOT facility.
It happened just after 8:30 Friday morning at IDOT's maintenance facility on Old Route 66.
Authorities say a hydraulic tank exploded-causing a fire to start inside the building.
Multiple crews arrived on scene to assist and clean up two gallons of spilled hydraulic fluid.
One worker was transported to an area hospital with severe burns.
There's still no word on his condition.
