Salvation Army Receives 80 Percent of Goal

The Salvation Army of Peoria announced Friday it has achieved 80.6 percent of its goal with
$1,345,278 received to date. Last year the Salvation Army housed 419 people in their Family
Shelter. Of that number, 262 were children. The Veterans Outreach Center provided services
to 419 new people and provided over 1300 referrals. There are still 21 days left in the 2012
campaign.
