Wheeler Named Interim Bloomington Police Chief

BLOOMINGTON - Assistant Police Chief Clay Wheeler was chosen to serve as interim police chief by the Bloomington city manager.

Current chief Randy McKinley is leaving the force on Friday to be the police chief in St. Charles, Missouri.

Wheeler is a 46-year-old Bloomington native and joined the department two decades ago.
