A former Dunlap teacher, who was accused of inappropriately videotaping students, pleaded
guilty Wednesday during an unscheduled court appearance and was sentenced to six months in jail but given credit for two days already served.
51 year old Gordon Mills of Mapleton was charged with unauthorized videotaping. Police say
an investigation by school administrators found video clips from the current school year, taken
with camera angles from the floor up in an attempt to view the clothed private areas of
students. Prosecutors say Mills was arrested after a student saw images on Mills' computer.
