BLOOMINGTON- A Chicago based alcohol distributor has been given the green light to set up shop.
Tuesday, the McLean County Board approved a tax incentive agreement with Wirtz Beverage Group.
The company had been eyeing land on the city's west side near Wylie Drive.
Under a proposal the beer and wine distributor would build a seven million dollar facility that includes 120 full time jobs.
In exchange, the county has agreed to freeze its property taxes for five years.
