Luthy Botanical Garden In Peoria Grows Ponderosa Lemons

PEORIA-- The Luthy Botanical Gardens in Peoria Now Has Ponderosa Lemons Available.
Ponderosa Lemons normally grow in warmer climate areas of the globe but the Luthy Botanical Garden in Peoria has had one in its conservatory for a couple months now.
The lemon tree they have is about 15 feet tall and has nearly ripe, Ponderosa Lemons growing from its branches.
The Ponderosa Lemon is sometimes referred to as a hybrid lemon; which is a mix of a regular lemon and a citron fruit. Horticulturist say the lemon can be used the same way as regular lemons are.
