Peoria's Luthy Botanical garden tried to change your mind Sunday.
It gave tours today of its winter garden.
The tour consisted of plants that grow in the colder months and can withstand harsh conditions.
The garden put on the tour to remind people winter can be sight for sore eyes.
Garden Manager Bob Streitmatter said,"There's a lot of really cool things. It's just a quieter beauty I think in the Winter garden. In the Spring, you got the flowers. In the Fall, you got Fall colors. In the Winter, there's a lot to really enjoy in the garden."
The next winter garden tour will be in March, when other plants start to blossom.
