Toulon Mom Pleads Guilty to Abandoning Baby

A Toulon mom pleaded guilty Friday to abandoning her infant daughter on a rural Stark County
road and falsely reporting her as abducted. 19 year old Kendra Meaker pleaded guilty to
obstructing justice and endangering the life or health of a child. Police say Meaker first claimed the
child was missing which prompted an Amber Alert. Later that day, a couple found the child in a
ditch in rural Stark County. Meaker will be sentenced March 8.
