Peoria's Glen Oak Park received a $180,000 grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The funds will be used to build a new attraction called Adventure Grove in the inner circle of the park.
The Adventure Grove will have a playground like obstacles that reflects animals characteristics.
The attraction will also have a pathway that weaves in and out of the oak trees in the park.

Story books are another fun activity the park is bringing to Adventure Grove.
They want to have story books set up through the area so kids can read them and learn.
