BLOOMINGTON- Video gambling machines aren't playing out the way some bars had anticipated.
Entourage Lounge received the machines about a month ago.
But the owner says their novelty wore off, even before being turned on.
So far, many have sat waiting to be played.
While owner Karen Murukas admits some people have tried to earn quick cash, the games aren't making a huge difference in her revenue stream.
She says those who feared gambling would cause problems in the city, really had nothing to worry about.
"I think they made a mountain out of a mole hill. It's great to have them. I'm happy they're here. But I don't think it's a big issue. It's just something extra for people to come in and enjoy," said Murukas.
The owner of Entourage Lounge says the machines could still gain popularity.
She got them during the holidays, which she calls an "off season" for business.
