BLOOMINGTON- There's a new business at Eastland Mall, and it doesn't sell clothing or jewelry.

Instead, it's offering a handy service for parents on the go.

It's called Aunty Tammie's, and it's the first drop in child care center in the area.

Parents can check in their little ones for up to three hours, while they shop.

People pay by the hour, or they can buy a card which includes more than one visit.

Children ages one to 10 are eligible for the service--giving them a place to color, climb, and read, while moms and dads get some alone time.

"Parents can go off and get shopping done and do other things and their children are safe and they're having fun and they're learning as well," explained business owner Tammie Mance.

Aunty Tammie's is bringing more customers to Eastland Mall.

She says parents come from Peoria, Champaign, and Springfield to use the service.
