Illegal Immigrants Get Green Light to Drive in Illinois

A bill allowing illegal immigrants to have Illinois drivers licenses passed the Illinois House Tuesday, having already passed the Illinois Senate. The bill now heads to the governor who has indicated he will sign the measure. Supporters of the measure claim it's a matter of public safety allowing a quarter million illegal immigrants to have the privilege to drive in Illinois.
