A Peoria man, indicted in connection with a 2004 homicide, went on trial Tuesday. Testimony began in the case against 36 year old Robert Nunn, Senior whose charged with two counts of murder and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Nunn is accused of killing Antonio Faulkner who was found shot to death in a car parked outside his sister's home in the 800 block of South Wiswall Court. Authorities believe a dispute over a dice game led to the homicide. However, the defense points to a lack of physical evidence and a murder weapon. Nunn has pleaded NOT GUILTY. Meantime, Nunn's son, Robert Nunn, Junior is in jail awaiting sentencing for another homicide.
