PEORIA - The Mid-America Antique show is wrapping up its three day visit with the record attendance.
Show Promoter Richard Porte said an estimated 1,500 people have visited this weekend. He said the weather and word of mouth have made for bigger crowds. Porte also credits the quality for bringing visitors back each year.
He said, "People come once and they want to come again because of the quality and the friendship of the dealers."
He said most antique shows in the Midwest do not do very well in the winter.
The next show is scheduled for August 9 - 11.
