Beating, Robbery Reported in Peoria

PEORIA - A Peoria man was left shaken, but not seriously hurt after scary situation Friday.
The unidentified man said he was out for a walk when a group of men attacked and robbed him.
It was reported around 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Louisa St.
The victim told police four or five men hit him in the chest and face before stealing his wallet and phone.
Police had no suspect information available Saturday.
Paramedics took the victim to be the checked out at the hospital.
